Here are some ways you can stand in solidarity against police brutality and domestic violence towards black women. These include links to petitions, sites to donate to, as well as directives for protesting. Spread the word!

Use this website and other reputable sources to educate yourself about the effects of state and domestic violence on black women.

Take a look at the activism happening where you are! Are there black-led initiatives to combat police brutality in your area?

Sites such as Defund 12 open an email template addressed to all of your city's elected officials, to demand they vote to defund the police.

Contact your local political representatives about bills and acts in relation to BLACK WOMEN MATTER.

Elect people who will represent interests that work for you!. Don't be afraid to reach out - these officials serve at the city, district, and state level for YOU. Efforts such as emails, phone-calls, and in-person lobbying are effective when executed en masse.

There are many reputable petitions you can sign, and make your voice heard online.

If you are able, donate to reputable causes that support BLACK WOMEN MATTER's mission. Demand transparency about an organization's finances and where donations are directed, if you sense something's off. Keeping each other accountable drives progress!
